Canon Law mandates that each church parish shall maintain a Parish Finance Council to assist the pastor/administrator and parish staff with planning and oversite of all financial activities relative to parish and/or school operations.  The sole purpose of the Parish Finance Council is to act in an advisory capacity to parish and school leadership; and, serve at the discretion of the Pastor/administrator.


This charter governs the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Finance Council established in conformity with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ “Guidelines for Parish Finance Councils”, approved on January 1, 2020, and maybe read in its entirety.  Click here to read the entire Parish Finance Council Charter.
