“For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me,
ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.”  Matthew 25:35-36

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church sends forth ministers to parishioners who cannot come to church due to illness or age to bring them the Word and Body of Christ.  Homebound Ministers bring compassion and love of the Christ to these parishioners who otherwise feel abandoned or forgotten.  They hold a service that includes the gospel reading, prayers, petitions and the distribution of the Holy Eucharist.

People they visit are patients in the hospital, those who are confined at home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

Please contact the church office 310-372-7077 if you need a minister to come or if you want to be a Homebound Minister.
