Video 1 – Divine Revelation
This is the first of six videos on the basics of the Catholic Faith given for Lent 2021. This video presents that the Gospel we follow is “Not of human invention, …but a revelation of Jesus Christ” (Gal 1:11-12). Jesus Christ is the fullest revelation of God, but God is also revealed in other ways; most notably scripture and tradition of the Church. However as we read and experience these, we are meant to experience them also ‘Not as a human invention; but as revealed by Jesus Christ.’ The revelation of God continues generation after generation, from person to person.
Video 2 – Scripture
Scripture is one way divine revelation is presented to us. This video goes over what is a “Catholic Bible”, and gives an overview of the Old and New Testaments.

Video 3 – Sacraments
Even before there were the seven sacraments of our Catholic Faith, their was the sacrament before the sacraments; Jesus. Our practice of the faith is sacramental, because our Salvation by Christ is Sacramental; God joined our humanity to redeem it by transforming it by the power of His touch, His presence, His Power and Perfection. This video talks about sacraments in general, and then briefly touches on the seven sacraments of the Catholic Faith.
Video 4 – The Creed
Some of the major Dogmas of the Church, found in the Nicene Creed, are examined and discussed.

Video 5: Conscience and Sin (and some Mercy)
This video looks at what is conscience. It is both a verb and a noun. It must be followed, but it also must be formed. We also look a bit at what is sin.
