Weekend Healing Retreat: The Human Adventure with Fr. Pat Crowley, SSCC
6pm Friday, October 14 to 1:30pm Sunday, October 16, 2022
“To live with soul is to live with hope in the midst of discouragement and setbacks. Trust in the midst of struggle and the unknown future. Patience in the midst of trials and pain. Gratitude in the  midst of ordinary life. Generosity in the midst of committed relationships.”(Wilkie Au -The Enduring Heart) To recapture the vision of our human adventure is the aim of this retreat. St. Paul in his epistle to the Philippians captures the theme very succinctly: “Brothers and Sisters,  I do not think of myself as having reached the finish line. I give no thought to what lies behind but push on to what is ahead.”( Philippians 3. 13).  The Retreat is an opportunity to experience sharings on the Human Adventure, times for quiet reflection and prayer; personal ministry; and daily celebration of the eucharist. The sacrament of reconciliation will also be available for those wishing to avail themselves of the sacrament. There will be a general healing service on Saturday evening in the Chapel for all of those wishing to attend.  Fr. Pat is a member of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts in the Western Region of the United States Province. He has been actively involved in Healing Ministry for over forty years. He resides at the Community House in California.  Cost: per person/shared $250; single $350; commuter $160 For more information, visit this Event page
