During this Christmas season, here are some ways you can help families in need at our Parish and in the community.
OLG HAND n HAND CHRISTMAS FOOD DRIVE
Help our parishioners in need this Christmas by sponsoring a family. As a sponsor, you are free to choose what types of food and household products you would like to donate. Hand-n-Hand will organize donations on Saturday, December 16, from 4:30-5pm in the Parish Hall.
If you are interested in sponsoring a family for the Hand n Hand Christmas Food Drive, please complete this form We will provide a suggested shopping list, and assign a family number to you. Contact the church office if you have questions or need additional information.
ST. MARGARET’S CENTER’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM 2023
St. Margaret’s Center, a program of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles serves families who live in poverty and reside in the greater L.A.X. area (Lennox, Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena, Lawndale, South L.A. or South Bay).
They are in need of toy donations for their annual Christmas Program event, preparing a magical day for approximately 1,000 low-income children and their parents. Please bring your UNWRAPPED NEW toys to the back of the OLG church (preferred gift range from $15 to $30) by December 15th. Also, we are looking for a few volunteers with trucks to deliver these toys on Monday, December 11th. Contact [email protected]

SOUTH BAY OUTREACH CENTER TOY DRIVE
Help bring our kids joy on Christmas morning! Please bring unwrapped toys for ages toddler – 17 years old. Target/Walmart gift cards are great for teen kids as well. Drop off your donations at 4046 Marine Avenue, Avis Gate, Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm. Call 310-675-1384 to arrange drop off on Saturday.
