Memorial Day Observance

The parish office will be closed Monday, May 26 In Observance of Memorial Day. The parish office will open on Tuesday, May 27th at 8AM.

This Monday is Memorial Day, the traditional beginning of summer. It was our day to remember all those who have sacrificed their lives for our country, our homeland and our citizens. This is our day to commemorate their bravery and to be grateful. We are blessed to live in this country—-a true land of liberty and opportunity. We have so many noble values in our society-life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness -liberty and justice for all. We encourage a freedom of religion-a separation of Church and State where our Catholic faith continues to grown in numbers and in
strength. In a pluralist society, our challenge is to allow our Catholic values to be heard and to influence the values, ethics and morality of our society. Please not only remember those who have died for our country but also those who have served and serve in our military today. Pray for them but especially those who are serving in the war areas of our world and are separated from their families and friends. May God protect them and bring them home.
