Mark your calendar — This year, ALL SAINTS Day (Nov. 1), a Holiday of Obligation, Masses are Friday 8:00AM and 7:00 PM. The following day is All SOULS Day (Nov. 2), a Saturday, Mass at 8:00AM. With that being the case we will celebrate our Mass of remembrance of the dead in the following way. At the 7:00PM Mass – Friday — we will remember those who have died during the past year. Before that Mass, we will pray the rosary at 6:30 PM and you will have an opportunity to pray aloud for those who have died. Mass will begin at 7:00. As in the past, envelopes are available to you to remember loved ones who have died during our All Souls Novena. These envelopes are available in the back of the Church.
Having a Mass offered for someone is a wonderful Catholic tradition. Arranging for one is easy, just contact Jodi our parish secretary. We will provide a Mass card for you, if you need one.
Thanks to all those who are helping with the restoration of our image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. In helping, please use an envelope or check so that we can include your name or the name of your love one in our scroll and Novena of Masses.
Our plans to celebrate our Patronal Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Dec. 12th) are developing. We know now that Bishop Alex will join us for the Mananitas and Mass at Midnight. Bishop Joseph Sartoris will join us for the 7:00PM Mass. The Schedule of Masses will be Midnight, 8:00AM and 7:00PM. We will let you know more as our plans develop. The celebration of each Mass should add to the Solemnity of that day. Remember this is your Feast, the Feast of the Church and People of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We are so blessed to have so great of a Mother for our Patroness. Plan to give her the honor that is do for her Feast.
