Jr. High/Middle School Ministry

Are you student in grades 6th-8th grade? Are you a parent of a jr. high/middle schooler? Have you been wondering “When is OLG going to develop a youth ministry dedicated to our jr. high/middle schoolers?” Well, wait no longer. Announcing “In The Middle” – a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to the junior high/middle school young adolescents of our parish.

If you are interested in this ministry for your jr. high/middle school student, in participating as a leader or being on the advisory board, please attend our informational meeting on Thursday July 12 from 7:30-9pm at the Coop (234 Prospect Ave, nextdoor to the parish office). You do not need to be a parent of a jr. high/middle school student to be involved – but you should at least enjoy working with them. All adult team members must complete the “Safeguard the Children” requirements, including fingerprinting with the Archdiocese and up-to-date Virtus training. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

Please note: A separate meeting will be held for any jr. high/middle school and high school students who would like to help plan and lead the “In The Middle” gatherings (called”MidNites”). Keep an eye out in the bulletin for leadership opportunities.
