A Few Words from Fr. Ray

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers of our Parish! The love that you have shared in your life, as a mother, has been a sign of God’s love for others. Thank you for being a sign of God’s grace. You are remembered in prayer this day.

Once again – thanks for your support of our Fiesta. I found this year’s Fiesta to be especially successful in bringing so many families, especially young families together. Our Parish and our neighborhood are blessed with so many young children. Our Fiesta is wonderful way to bring people together.

Last year at this time, we were still planning for Phase 3. One year later, it is now complete. Our Preschool will open in the fall, our offices have moved and we have received our new CUP (Conditional Use Permit) from the city. I set as a goal for us to raise $250,000. I raised an additional $250,000 from donors outside of our parish. I want to thank each of you who have given to Phase 3. I’m happy to share with you that we have now collected 75% of the needed money — in other words, we have 25% to go or an additional $62,500. Thank you for all your generosity!!!! We have come so far, very quickly. Please remember to pray! Our project was dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe. A mosaic of OLG was placed on our offices at Prospect and Massey in her honor. Please pray that through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we will bring this project to completion.
